The design of device for the simulation of acoustic symptoms of discharge activity

Abstract:

Předložená práce pojednává o elektrickém výboji, o projevech těchto výbojů a o detekci částečných výbojů. Popisuje fyzikální základy vzniku elektrického výboje v izolantech, polarizace dielektrika a ionizace atomů a molekul. Vysvětluje pojmy jako izolant, dielektrikum, elektrická vodivost či elektrická pevnost. Obsahuje rozdělení výbojů podle různých kritérií, rozdělení částečných výbojů, metody detekce částečných výbojů. Jsou zde uvedeny projevy výbojové činnosti vedoucí k degradaci izolace. V závěru práce je popsán návrh zařízení pro simulaci akustických projevů výbojové činnosti. Navrhované zařízení je plazmový reproduktor neboli "zpívající výboj".

Abstract:

The presented work deals with the electrical charges on the effects of these discharges and on the detection of partial discharges. It describes the physical fundamentals of electrical discharges in insulators, dielectric polarization and ionization of atoms and molecules. It explains concepts such as insulator, dielectric, electrical conductivity and dielectric strength. It includes a division of discharges according to various criteria, classification of partial discharge, partial discharge detection methods. There are given signs of discharge activity leading to insulation degradation. In conclusion, the work describes the design of devices for simulating acoustic manifestations of discharge activity. The proposed device is a plasma speaker, or "singing discharge".
