The Role of Midwives in The Prevention of HIV Infection Transmission

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce na téma "Úloha porodní asistentky v prevenci přenosu HIV infekce" ve své teoretické části vymezuje základní informace o HIV infekci a nemoci AIDS. Dále se práce zaměřuje na možnosti přenosu a způsoby prevence před HIV infekcí, popisuje specifika ošetřovatelské péče jak o gravidní ženu s HIV infekcí, tak i specifika ošetřovatelské péče o osoby s HIV infekcí. Ve výzkumné části jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky dotazníkového šetření nejen v písemné formě ale i grafickém znázornění. Toto šetření probíhalo mezi vysokoškolskými studenty.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis called "The Role of Midwives in The Prevention of HIV Infection Transmission" gives basic information about HIV infection and AIDS disease. The thesis focuses on the transmission possibilities and ways of the HIV infection prevention. Furthermore it describes both the nursing specifics of a pregnant woman with HIV and of a (non-pregnant) person with HIV. In the research part the questionnaire results are evaluated. They are not presented just in a written form but also in graphs. The questionnaire facts were collected among university students.
