Preparation of Nanofibrous/Nanoparticles Structures Using Elektrospinning

Abstract:

Cílem předložené diplomové práce bylo připravit polymerní nanovlákenné/částicové struktury a v následném kroku funkcionalizovat jejich povrch nanočásticemi stříbra. Metodou elektrostatického zvlákňování byla připravena polymerní neorientovaná a orientovaná vlákna a polymerní částice. Jako polymerní matrice byly zvoleny dva polymery, a to polyuretany lišící se buď alifatickým nebo aromatickým řetězcem. Funkcionalizace připravených částicových struktur nanočásticemi stříbra mohla být provedena díky zabudování polymerního linkeru do struktury polymerní matrice. Ke strukturní charakterizaci připravených polymerních morfologií byla využita skenovací a transmisní elektronová mikroskopie (SEM a TEM).

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the preparation and the subsequent surface functionalization of generated polymeric nanofibrous/particle structures using silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The electrospinning method was used for the preparation of both non-oriented and oriented polymer fibres and for the generation of polymer microparticles, as well. As polymer matrices, two substantially different polyurethane (PU) polymers were chosen. In order to ensure efficient functionalization with AgNPs in the next step, a polymeric linker was incorporated into the fibre structure. Through the functional groups, then available on the surface, AgNPs were generated and immobilized from the precursor. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy was used for characterization of structural differences of PU morphologies and PU particles before and after the functionalization performed with AgNPs.
