Aesthetic education in family by children s literature – case study author s books by Peter Sis

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se věnuje problematice estetické výchovy v rodině prostřednictvím dětské literatury s případovou studií autorských knih Petra Síse. Prezentuje cíle a možnosti estetické výchovy v mimoškolním prostředí a hledáním průsečíků v teorii estetické výchovy a teorii literatury, charakterizuje možné vztahy těchto dvou odvětví. Na tomto základě sleduje oblast literatury pro děti a mládež v kontextu výchovy a buduje snahu o vytvoření koncepce, využívající dětskou knihu jako prostředek k estetickému obohacení. S využitím umělecky hodnotně zpracované obrázkové knihy pro děti se následně snaží definovat esteticko-výchovné snahy, které dále prezentuje na konkrétních příkladech převážně české současné knižní produkce. Výsledky práce v závěru reflektuje v případové studii autorských knih Petra Síse, s prezentováním jeho tvůrčího profilu a způsobu práce.

Abstract:

The present diploma thesis is devoted to aesthetic education in family through children's literature with a case study of Peter Sis author's books. It presents the possibilities and goals of aesthetic education in extra-curricular education and by searching for the intersections in the theory of aesthetic education and the theory of literature; it describes possible relations of these two spheres. On this basis, it observes the area of literature for children and youth in the context of education and builds an effort to create the concept of using children's book as a means of aesthetic enrichment. It subsequently tries to define the aesthetic and educational efforts by using the artistically valuable processed picture books for children, which are also presented in concrete examples mainly in Czech contemporary book production. At the end it reflects the results of this thesis in the case study of Peter Sis artist's books, with the presentation of his creative profile and methods of his work.
