Occurrence and evaluation of the state of health of the main edifiers of forest stands in the Natural Forest Area No. 16 Czech-Moravian Highlands

Abstract:

V roce 2021 bylo zastoupení buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica) v České republice 9,3 %, javorů 1,6 % a dubů 7,6 %. Tyto hodnoty pomalu stoupají a zastoupení buku se za posledních pět let zvýšilo o 3,3 % celkové plochy porostní půdy (Zelená zpráva 2021). Tato práce pojednává o životních projevech buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica), javoru mléče (Acer platanoides), javoru klene (Acer pseudoplatanus) a dubu letního (Quercus robur) na vybraných maloplošných chráněných územích v Přírodní lesní oblasti č. 16 Českomoravská vrchovina. Cílem této práce je vyhodnocení životních projevů výše zmíněných dřevin jejich porovnání na různých stanovištích. Byly vybrány tři MCHÚ, z čehož dvě lokality se nachází v 5. LVS a jedna částečně v 5. a 4. LVS a bylo zde provedeno dendrometrické měření. Měření byla prováděna na souborech lesních typů 5K – kyselá jedlová bučina, 5B – bohatá jedlová bučina, 5D – obohacená jedlová bučina, 5A – obohacená kamenitá klenová bučina, 5J – obohacená skeletová jilmojasanová javořina a 4K – kyselá bučina. Výsledkem bylo porovnání získaných dat mezi jednotlivými soubory lesních typů a jednotlivých dřevin na souboru lesních typů 5J. Průměr kmene a výška nasazení koruny buku lesního byly nižší na 5K. Javor mléč dosahoval menších tlouštěk na 5J oproti ostatním dřevinám, naopak javor klen a dub letní dosahovaly větších výšek.

Abstract:

In 2021, the representation of European beech (Fagus sylvatica) in the Czech Republic was 9.3 %, of maples 1.6 % and oaks 7.6 %. These values are slowly increasing, and the representation of European beech has increased by 3.3 % of the total area of arable land over the last five years (Zelená zpráva 2021). This work discusses the life manifestations of European beech (Fagus sylvatica), Norway maple (Acer platanoides), Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) and Pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) in selected small protected areas in the Natural Forest Area No. 16 of the Czech-Moravian Highlands. The aim of this work is to evaluate the life manifestations of the above-mentioned tree species. Three small protected areas were selected, of which two localities are located in the 5th forest vegetation tier and one partially in the 5th and 4th forest vegetation tier, and endometrial measurements were performed here. The result was a comparison of the obtained data between individual sets of forest types and individual tree species on the set of forest types 5J. The diameter of the trunk and the height of the beech crown deployment were lower at 5K. The Norway maple reached smaller thicknesses at 5J compared to the other trees, on the contrary, the Sycamore maple and Pedunculate oak reached greater heights.
