Comparison of FLE textbooks from the point of view of the criteria of the action-oriented approach

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis will be to compare French language textbooks from different publishing houses in terms of the action approach in foreign language teaching and to analyse the differences that may occur between them. The results will serve to orient in the current French language textbooks regarding the application of the criteria of the action approach. The thesis will deal with the historical methodological development of textbooks and foreign language teaching, especially French language teaching. The empirical part deals with the analysis of selected French language textbooks intended for teaching at the second level of primary schools or at the first level of multi-year grammar schools on the basis of the criteria that characterize the action approach. Finally, the thesis also includes supplementary methodological sheets for textbooks where the action approach is not represented.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto práce bude porovnať učebnice francúzskeho jazyka od rôznych vydavateľstiev z hľadiska akčného prístupu vo vyučovaní cudzieho jazyka a analyzovať rozdiely, ktoré sa medzi nimi môžu vyskytnúť. Výsledky poslúžia na orientáciu v súčasných učebniciach francúzskeho jazyka, pokiaľ ide o uplatňovanie kritérií akčného prístupu. Práca sa bude zaoberať historickým metodologickým vývojom učebníc a vyučovania cudzích jazykov, predovšetkým francúzskeho jazyka. Časť empirická sa zaoberá analýzou vybraných učebníc francúzskeho jazyka určených na vyučovanie na druhom stupni základných škôl alebo na prvom stupni viacročných gymnázií na základe kritérií, ktoré charakterizujú akčný prístup. Na záver, práca taktiež obsahuje doplňujúce metodologické listy pre učebnice, kde akčný prístup nie je zastúpený.
