Disertační práce se zabývá analýzou kroniky vizigótského kronikáře Iohanna z Bíclara. Je rozdělena do tří částí: první pojednává o historickém a společenském pozadí doby, kdy kronika vznikla; druhá je zaměřena na formální popis díla a jeho zařazení do soudobé literární tvorby; třetí část je praktická - statistickou metodou jsou vyhodnocovány různé elementy textu kroniky. The doctoral disertation is analyzing the chronicle of Visigothic chronicler Iohannes of Bíclaro.
