Non-destructive archeological research of Třemšín castle and surrounding landscape

Abstract:

Cílem práce je interpretace důvodu výstavby středověkého hradu Třemšín (střední Čechy) a pokus o identifikaci stavebníka. V úvodu shrnuji dosavadní stav bádání. Poté se věnuji obecným otázkám jako symbolickému působení hradních staveb, jaké jsou využívány prameny a přístupy při určování stavebníka hradu, vztahu hradu a jeho zázemí a k poměru krále, šlechty a role hradů v době posledních Přemyslovců. Dále popisuji provedený nedestruktivní výzkum. Bylo provedeno geodetické zaměření hradu, geofyzikální průzkum, průzkum pedologickými vrty, vzorkovací sondáž, hodnocení kamenických článků, povrchový průzkum okolní krajiny a hodnocení podoby lesního porostu. Výsledky výzkumu na závěr diskutuji a vyjadřuji se k osobě stavebníka hradu.

Abstract:

The study is interested in the "Třemšín" castle which is located in Central Bohemia. The main objective is explanation of the construction of the castle at this area and identification of the builder. In the first part of the work is focused on summarization of current knowledge about this site. Next parts are interest in symbolical meaning of castles, sources and methods in intention to identify concrete builder, connection between castle and settlement around it, connection between king and aristocrats, and role of castles in period of last kings from Přemyslid Dynasty. In the study were employed methods non-destructive survey like: geodetic survey, geophysical survey, pedological boreholes, sampling pit holes, evaluation of pottery founds and surface surveying with using the maps, surface artefact survey and LIDAR. The conclusion and discussion are focused on the builder of the castle.
