Bakalářská práce se zabývá složitostí příprav svatebního dne od zásnub po předsvatební večer, zmiňuje jednotlivé body příprav, které se nutné předem naplánovat. Definuje pojem svatba a manželství, ukazuje na důvody uzavírání manželství v minulosti i dnes.
