Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na satelitní jednotky firmy Baťa, vybudované v České republice, a problematiku ideálních průmyslových měst. Úvod je věnován charakteristice českých a moravských satelitů se zaměřením na jejich urbánní vývoj. Stěžejní částí je snaha zachytit způsob plánování ideálních průmyslových měst v širším kontextu firemní ideologie. Opírá se o teoretické texty vypracované osobnostmi firmy Baťa, kde se dá sledovat neustálý vývoj. Součástí práce je také pohled do historie ideálních měst, které často vznikly na základě sociálních utopií, a jejich vztah k baťovskému systému.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on satelite towns of the Bata company built in the Czech Republic and the issue of ideal company towns in general. The introduction characterizes the Czech and Moravian satelites and their urban developement. The main part is decicated to describing approaches to planning of ideal company towns with regard to the context of company’s ideology. It refers to theoreties elaborated by important characters of the Bata company. Several trends that have constantly evolved are followed. The thesis also provides an insight into history of the ideal towns that often originated from utopias and their relation to the Bata’s system.
