Diagnostics of executive functions using program Neurop 2 - normative studies

Abstract:

V práci se zabýváme využitím počítačových programů v neuropsychologické diagnostice. Konkrétně se přitom zaměřujeme na otázky exekutivních funkcí, jakožto takových, jejichž poruchy mají velký dopad na každodenní život člověka. Dále se pak zabýváme mozkovými oblastmi frontálních laloků, které jsou s exekutivními funkcemi nejčastěji spojovány. Ve výzkumné části pak pracujeme s programem Neurop 2 (autora Dr. Laco Gaála), který je zaměřen na neuropsychologickou diagnostiku a rehabilitaci. Hlavním cílem práce bylo přispět k rozšíření norem tohoto programu. Vybranými testy programu Neurop 2, se zaměřením na exekutivní funkce, jsme otestovali skupinu 134 probandů, převážně vysokoškolských studentů. Vytvořili jsme přehledy výkonů této skupiny v jednotlivých testech, které by měly přispět k vytvoření norem pro program Neurop 2. Dále jsme statistickými metodami porovnávali gender rozdíly v jednotlivých testech, výkony mezi probandy jednotlivých typů studia a také korelace věku s výkonem v testech.

Abstract:

In this work we deal with the usage of computer programs in neuropsychological diagnostics. Specifically we focus on issues of executive functions, as such, whose disorder has considerable consequence on human´s everyday life. Next we deal with brain´s areas of frontal lobes, which are being frequently linked with the executive functions. Then in the research part we work with program Neurop 2 (created by Dr. Laco Gaál), which is focused on neuropsychological diagnostics and rehabilitation. The main aim of our work was to help extend the standards of this program. We tested a group of 134 probands, mainly university students, using selected tests from program Neurop 2, which were focused on executive functions. We made an overview of achievements of this group in each test, which should contribute to standards creation of program Neurop 2. Using statistical methods we further compared gender differences for each test, results of probands of different types of study and also correlations between age and results of the tests.
