Bakalářská práce věnuje pozornost důležité součásti poskytování ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty i v terminálním stádiu onemocnění, a přímo navazuje na proces umírání a smrt. Práce je koncipována na zdravotnický personál a to především na všeobecné zdravotní sestry, které přicházejí do kontaktu se smrtí při výkonu svého povolání a studentky ošetřovatelství, které se na výkon povolání připravují. My thesis is focused on importance of providing nursing care for patients in terminal stage of disease and a direct follow up to a process of dying and a death. The thesis is conceived on health care staff and mainly on general nurses who come in touch with death by doing their duties. Theoretical part of the thesis describes stages and process of dying.
