Pension reform in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma "Důchodová reforma v České republice" si klade za cíl charakterizovat současný důchodový systém a problematiku důchodové reformy v České republice. První část popisuje dosavadní fungování důchodového systému do 30. září 2011, zabývá se druhem jednotlivých dávek důchodového systému a dále popisuje dobrovolný pilíř důchodového systému - penzijní připojištění. Druhá část bakalářské práce zahrnuje popis nedostatků současného důchodového systému. Dále se druhá část práce zabývá charakteristikou změny důchodového systému v rámci tzv. malé důchodové reformy a také je zde zaznamenáno shrnutí důchodové reformy v rámci změn platných od 1. ledna 2013.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis on "Pension reform in the Czech Republic" aims to characterize the current pension system and the issue of pension reform in the Czech Republic. The first part describes the current functioning of the pension system by 30 September 2011, deals with various kind of pensions systems and then describes the voluntary pillar pension system - the pension plan. The second part of this thesis includes a description of the shortcomings of the current pension system. Furthermore, the second part deals with the characteristic changes in the pension system in the small pension reform and the last chapter is a summary of reported pension reform in the amendments in force since 1 January 2013.
