Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá syntézou molekulárních prekurzorů a metodami jejich transformace na oxidické a fosfátové materiály. Pro dosažení těchto cílů bylo využito nových nehydrolytických sol-gelových metod pro přípravu xerogelů a také metody chemické depozice z plynné fáze pro přípravu tenkých vrstev. Získané molekulární prekurzory byly charakterizovány a analyzovány pomocí dostupných fyzikálně-chemických metod – rentgenové strukturní analýzy, NMR spektroskopie, IR a Ramanovy spektroskopie a termické analýzy. Chemické a morfologické vlastnosti a termické chování připravených materiálů bylo sledováno pomocí skenovací elektronové mikroskopie, rentgenové práškové difrakce, dusíkové adsorpční porozimetrie, plynové chromatografie s hmotnostní detekcí a termické analýzy. První část práce popisuje základní principy sol-gelových metod a možnosti jejich využití při syntéze oxidických a fosfátových materiálů. Dále se zabývá přípravou a vlastnostmi alkoxidů a chloridů-alkoxidů hlinitých a jejich transformacemi na aluminu. Pojednává také o principech a použití metod chemické depozice z plynné fáze pro přípravu tenkých filmů oxidů a fosfátů. V experimentální části se pomocí chemické depozice z plynné fáze podařilo transformovat dva dříve připravené těkavé molekulární hlinitofosforečnanové prekurzory na tenké vrstvy oxidu a fosforečnanu hlinitého. Reakcemi chloridu yttritého s tris(trimethylsilyl)esterem kyseliny fosforečné se podařilo připravit a strukturně charakterizovat cyklický organo-fosforečnan yttritý, který může sloužit jako prekurzor pro přípravu YPO4. Reakcemi dichlorethylalanu s vybranými alkoholy a fenoly se podařilo připravit a strukturně charakterizovat sérii šesti nových krystalických chloridů-alkoxidů hlinitých. Molekuly připravených sloučenin vykazují v závislosti na sterických vlastnostech použitých substituentů a podmínkách přípravy a krystalizace velkou strukturní variabilitu. Tyto látky jsou svým složením vhodné jako single-source prekurzory pro aluminu, proto byla také provedena transformace těchto chloridů-alkoxidů hlinitých na oxid hlinitý roztokovou termolýzou ve vysokovroucím rozpouštědle. Reakce probíhá jako alkylhalogenidová eliminace, což bylo prokázáno identifikací vedlejších produktů pomocí GS-MS.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the synthesis of molecular precursors and methods of their transformation to oxidic and phosphate materials. To attain this goal, new non-hydrolytic sol-gel methods for the preparation of xerogels and also chemical vapor deposition techniques for the preparation of thin films were employed. The obtained molecular precursors were characterized and analyzed by available instrumental methods - single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, NMR spectroscopy, IR and Raman spectroscopy, and thermal analysis. Chemical and morphological properties and thermal behavior of the prepared materials were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, nitrogen adsorption porosimetry, gas chromatography with mass detection, and thermal analysis. The first part describes the basic principles of sol-gel methods and possibilities of their applications in synthesis of oxidic and phosphate materials. It is also concerned with the properties of alkoxides and chloride-alkoxides of aluminum and their transformations to the alumina materials. The chapter also deals with the principles and utilization of chemical vapor deposition methods for the synthesis of thin films of oxides and phosphates. In the experimental part, we succeeded to transform two previously prepared volatile molecular aluminophosphate precursors to the thin layers of alumina and aluminophosphates. The reactions of yttrium(III) chloride with tris(trimethylsilyl)ester of phosphoric acid provided a new cyclic yttrium(III) organo-phosphate which was structurally characterized. It can serve as a precursor for the synthesis of YPO4. The reactions of dichloroethylalane with selected alcohols and phenols afforded a series of six new crystalline aluminum(III) chloride-alkoxides which were structurally characterized by the single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The prepared molecules display, depending on the steric properties of employed substituents and the reaction and crystallization conditions, a large structural variability. These compounds are by virtue of their composition suitable single-source precursors for alumina. Therefore the transformations of aluminum(III) chloride-alkoxides to aluminum(III) oxide was performed by solution thermolysis in a high-boiling solvent. The reactions are based on alkylhalide elimination which was proved by indentifying byproducts by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
