Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá vysokoškolskými studenty, kteří studují v rámci magisterského cyklu dva obory, dále se zaobírá způsoby zvládání a efekty takového studia. Cílem tohoto výzkumu tedy bylo zjistit a popsat, jaké motivy vedou studenty v magisterském cyklu ke studiu dvou oborů na této úrovni. Následně popsat, jak sami aktéři zvládají studium a do jaké míry je to zátěž. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem vynořující se dospělost, jak obecně, tak i se zaměřením na Českou republiku, dále je popsáno terciální vzdělávání společně s počty studentů v daných institucích, kde s narůstajícím počtem těchto studentů se mění i funkce terciálního vzdělávání, zejména tedy vysokých škol. Třetí kapitola popisuje studium na Masarykově univerzitě, jednotlivé typy a formy studia, dále přijímací řízení do jednotlivých typů studia, počty uchazečů a studentů opět v rámci jednotlivých typů studia. Závěrečná kapitola líčí o motivaci ke studiu, rozdílnosti motivace u studentů a motivace ke studiu na Masarykově univerzitě. Druhá část této kapitoly pojednává o zvládání studia, studijní zátěži a zvládání studia na Masarykově univerzitě. Ve druhé, empirické části jsou popsány veškeré aspekty kvalitativního výzkumného šetření. Dále jsou představeny a interpretovány výsledky výzkumu, který byl realizován prostřednictvím hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se studenty dvou magisterských studií v prezenční formě.

Abstract:

This master's thesis focuses on university students studying two fields within the master's cycle, as well as focusing on the ways of coping and the effects of such studies. The aim of this research is to make this approach available. Subsequently, how the actors manage their studies and to what extent a burden can appear. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part explains that these are adults, both in general and with a focus on the Czech Republic as well as tertiary education, which is reflected in all school institutions. The third chapter, the study at Masaryk University, describes individual types and forms of study, the admission procedure to individual types of studies, the number of applicants and students, again within the individual types of study. Final chapter takls about motivation to study at Masaryk University. The last sequence of this chapter deals with mastering studies, study workload and managing studies at Masaryk University. The second, empirical part describes all aspects of qualitative research. Furthermore, the results of research carried out by means of in-depth semi-structured interviews with students of two master's studies in full-time form are presented and interpreted.
