Tato diplomová práce s názvem Jazyk sociálních médií jako varieta angličtiny se zabývá tématem jazyka sociálních médií a snaží se zjistit, zda může být vnímán jako varieta angličtiny. Tato práce poskytuje informace o standardním a nestandardním jazyce, jazykovém stylu a normě. Dále zkoumá anglické regionální variety, definuje sociolekt a řečové komunity.
