Land expropriation as a way to remove barriers to territorial development - a case study

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat účinnost vyvlastňování pozemků jako nástroje pro odstranění bariér územního rozvoje. Práce se zaměří na konkrétní případovou studii, která bude sloužit jako ukázka praktického využití této metody. Hlavním cílem bude zhodnocení efektivity vyvlastňování jako řešení konkrétních problémů ve vztahu k rozvoji určitého území. Výzkum se zaměří na identifikaci překážek, které brání rozvoji a které mohou být řešeny vyvlastněním pozemků. Práce bude také hodnotit různé strategie a přístupy k vyvlastňování, které jsou v praxi používány, a to včetně posouzení etických a právních aspektů tohoto nástroje. Výsledky této práce by měly přispět k lepšímu pochopení úlohy vyvlastňování v procesu územního plánování a rozvoje a k identifikaci nejlepších postupů pro jeho úspěšné využití.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the effectiveness of land expropriation as a tool for removing barriers to territorial development. The thesis will focus on a specific case study that will serve as an example of the practical application of this method. The main objective will be to evaluate the effectiveness of expropriation as a solution to specific problems in relation to the development of a particular territory. The research will focus on the identification of obstacles to development that can be addressed by land expropriation. The thesis will also evaluate different strategies and approaches to expropriation that are used in practice, including an assessment of the ethical and legal aspects of this tool. The results of this work should contribute to a better understanding of the role of expropriation in the land use planning and development process and to the identification of best practices for its successful use.
