Theft of motor vehicles and their identification

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou krádeží motorových vozidel, možnosti zabezpečení vozidel proti krádeži, použitými identifikátory u vozidel a také samotnou identifikací. Cílem této práce je zaměření se na identifikační znaky umístěné v řídících jednotkách a na inteligentní dopravní systém eCall, který je určen dle základní funkcionality k tísňovému volání. S rozvojem technologií u vozidel přicházejí nové možnosti jejich identifikace a také nové možnosti při vedeném prověřování v trestním řízení a případném nasazení operativně pátracích prostředků. V této práci jsou použity analytické a deduktivní metody. Praktická část je zaměřena na operativně pátrací prostředky využívané v rámci prověřování krádeží motorových vozidel s využitím v rámci systému eCall. V praktické časti je také provedena praktická zkouška identifikace vozidla přístrojem VinReader.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of motor vehicle theft, the possibility of securing vehicles against theft, the identifiers used in vehicles and the identification itself. The aim of this work is to focus on the identification features located in the control units and on the intelligent transport system eCall, which is designed according to the basic functionality for emergency calls. With the development of technology in the case of vehicles, new possibilities come for their identification, as well as new possibilities for conducted investigations in criminal proceedings and the possible use of operational search means. Analytical and deductive methods are used in this work. The practical part is focused on operational search means used in the investigation of motor vehicle theft using the eCall system. In the practical part, a practical test of vehicle identification by the VinReader device is also performed.
