Salfism in North Rhine-Westphalia

Abstract:

Tato práce s využitím konceptu výzkumu extremismu a ochrany demokracie analyzuje salafistickou scénu v Severním Porýní–Vestfálsku. Za tímto účelem je hodnocen rozsah a struktura salafistické scény ve spolkové zemi, respektive hrozby, které tato scéna představuje. Práce analyzuje postup státních orgánů vůči salafistické scéně, přičemž akcentuje její kategorizaci na základě prostředků, které využívá, dále pak nutnost rozdílného postupu vůči rozdílným subjektům. Jedná se o první pokus klasifikovat opatření proti salafistické scéně v Severním Porýní–Vestfálsku.

Abstract:

The work analyses the Salafist scene in North Rhine–Westphalia using the concept of the research of extremism and the protection of democracy. The extent and the structure of the Salafist scene in this federal country is evaluated, especially the threats represented by this scene. The work analyses the methods used by state organs against the Salafists. It emphasises especially the categorization of the methods on the basis of the used means and the necessity of various actions taken towards different subjects: preachers, associations and networks. This is the first attempt to classify the actions against the Salafist scene in North Rhine–Westphalia.
