Evaluation of discontinuous system of tunnel excavation

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with a structural-geological evaluation of the locality of Zahradnice tunnel, the part of the modernized railway section Votice – Benešov, Prague city. The research is based on geological conditions, namely structure orientations of joints and tectonic faults. Oriented analysis of data was processed in the SpheriStat 2.2 for Windows. Individual orientations of joints systems are in three main directions NE-SW, NW-SE and the one, which is oriented subhorizontally. They show the so-called SQL type of jointing, typical for plutonics (Marko et.al., 1999).The one main faults system in NE-SW direction based on the results of orientation analysis is visible (was found). The most significant joint system is parallel with this main fault system. Stability of the excavation of the Zahradnice tunnel was reviewed by Bieniawski classification (1989). It shows that the orientation of joints system is predominantly favorable.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci je zpracováno strukturně-geologické zhodnocení území Zahradnického tunelu, který je součástí zmodernizovaného železničního traťového úseku Votice – Benešov u Prahy. K tomuto účelu byly využité údaje o geologických poměrech, především meření orientací strukturních prvků, a to konkrétně puklin a tektonických poruch. Analýza orientovaných dat tunelu, únikové štoly a jámy, byla provedená v programu SpheriStat 2.2 pro Windows. Jednotlivé orientace puklinových systémů jsou ve třech hlavních směrech SV-JZ, SZ-JV a jeden systém subhorizontální. Vykazují tak tzv. SQL puklinatost typickou pro plutonity (Marko et.al., 1999). Na základě výsledků orientace zlomů je viditelný jediný hlavní směr orientace SV-JZ paralelní s orientací nejvýraznějšího puklinového systému. Stabilita výrubu Zahradnického tunelu byla posouzena na základě Bieniawského klasifikace (1989) a vykazuje tak převážne příznivou orientaci puklinových systémů.
