The goal of the submitted thesis is analysis of EU Regional Policy development and the changes of the orientation for years 2007 – 2013. Cieľom práce je analýza vývoja regionálnej politiky Európskej únie a zmien jej orientácie v rokoch 2007 až 2013. Zásadnými témami sú reforma regionálnej politiky pre obdobie 2007 - 2013, analýza cieľov podporovaných zo Štrukturálnych fondov so zvláštnym zameraním na Európsky fond regionálneho rozvoja a analýza cieľov podporovaných z Kohézneho fondu.
