Possibilities and barriers of social work interventions with the family in the context of housing sustainability

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou intervencí sociální práce s rodinou v kontextu udržitelnosti bydlení. Práce je vedena jako teoreticko-výzkumná, přičemž teoretickou část práce tvoří čtyři kapitoly, jejichž cílem je zachycení problematiky chudoby a životních situací s chudobou spjatých, bezdomovectví a bezdomovectví rodin s dětmi, bytové politiky a možnosti podpory rodin skrze sociální bydlení, v závěru teoretické části je pak věnován prostor popisu modelů využívaných při zabydlování, s bližším zaměřením na Housing First ("Bydlení především"). Cílem výzkumné části diplomové je zjistit, jak klíčoví sociální pracovníci rodin z projektu RRH interpretují příčiny a okolnosti ztráty městského bydlení a zjistit, jaké možnosti a bariéry intervence sociální práce jsou těmito pracovníky identifikovány v kontextu udržitelnosti bydlení rodin z projektu Rapid Re-Housing. Za účelem naplnění uvedeného cíle byla využita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie a sběr dat probíhal za využití techniky polostrukturovaného rozhovoru.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of social work interventions with families in the context of housing sustainability. The thesis is conducted as a theoretical-research work, with the theoretical part of the thesis consisting of four chapters aimed at capturing the issues of poverty and poverty-related living situations, homelessness and homelessness of families with children, the housing policy, the possibilities of supporting families through social housing, and at the end of the theoretical part, there is space devoted to the description of models used in housing, with a closer focus on Housing First. The aim of the research part of the thesis is to explore how key social workers of the RRH families interpret the causes and circumstances of urban housing loss and to identify the opportunities and barriers to social work intervention identified by these workers in the context of the sustainability of the RRH families' housing. In order to meet the aim, a qualitative research strategy was employed and data collection was conducted using a semi-structured interview technique.
