The difficulty and effectiveness of introducing the electronic registration of sales

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá elektronickou evidencí tržeb, která je aktuálním nástrojem v boji proti daňovým únikům. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit náročnost a efektivnost zavedení tohoto nástroje v České republice. Náročnost i efektivnost je hodnocena z pohledu poplatníka i správce daně. První část této práce obsahuje teoretická východiska pro výzkumné části. Jedná se o úvod do stínové ekonomiky státu, vymezení pojmu daňový únik a jeho dělení a v neposlední řadě je představena elektronická evidence tržeb. Výzkumná část se zabývá hodnocením efektivnosti a náročnosti zavedení elektronické evidence tržeb na základě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Náročnost a efektivnost je hodnocena z pohledu nejmenších živnostníků vlastnící restauraci na venkově a stejně tak hodnotí EET pracovníci finančních úřadů v Jihočeském kraji.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis occupies with the electronic registration of sales that is the current tool in the fight against tax evasion. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the difficulty and effectiveness of the implementation of this tool in the Czech Republic. Both difficulty and effectiveness are assessed from the point of view of taxpayers and tax administrators. The first part of the thesis contains the theoretical background for research parts. These research sections include an introduction to the shadow economy of the state, defining the concept of tax evasion and its division. The last part includes the introduction of electronic registration of sales. The research part deals with the evaluation of the effectiveness and difficulty of introducing the electronic registration of sales. The research part is based on semi-structured interviews. Both difficulty and effectiveness are assessed from the point of view of the smallest businessmen owning a restaurant in the country and of the staff of the finance offices in the South Bohemian region.
