Printer's Web-to-Print Solution Development and Analysis

Abstract:

Práce je věnována problematice web-to-print. V teoretické části práce je stanovena definice, vlastnosti a využití web-to-print aplikací v polygrafickém průmyslu. Popisuje jednotlivé dílčí části těchto aplikací a věnuje se technologiím, které jsou pro web-to-print aplikaci důležité, ale nejsou součástí oboru polygrafie. Experimentální část popisuje aplikaci společnosti Key2Print a postup implementace web-to-print aplikace pro společnost Typodesign a shrnuje informace a zkušenosti získané implementací konkrétního řešení.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with web-to-print. The definition, characterictics and usage of web-to-print applications in printing industry are described in theoretical part of the thesis. The thesis describes individual components of applications and represents technologies, which are important for web-to-print solutions, but are not part of printing industry. An experimental part describes Key2Print solution and process of web-to-print solution implementation for print company Typodesign and summarize the information and experiences gained by implementation of real solution.
