The Project of Community Center as a Tool to Improve the Quality of Life in Rural Areas

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vytvoření komunitního centra v obci Bratřejov. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy komunita, komunitní práce, komunitní plánování a komunitní centra. Dále jsou zde charakterizovány sociální politika a služby, zlepšení kvality života, neziskové organizace a zásady tvorby projektu. Praktická část se skládá z analýzy Strategie komunitně vedeného místního rozvoje Místní akční skupiny Vizovicko a Slušovicko, Komunitního plánu rozvoje sociálních služeb na Vizovicku a Slušovicku a z analýzy obce Bratřejov. Formou nestandardizovaných dotazníků byl proveden průzkum atraktivity vybudování komunitního centra, sestaven projekt vybudování komunitního centra a následně navrženy doporučení pro realizaci v praxi. Cílem projektu je zjištění podmínek pro založení a činnost nestátní neziskové organizace, která bude zajišťovat aktivity komunitního centra.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the creation of a community center in the village Bratřejov. The theoretical part defines the concepts of community, community work, community planning and community centers. There are also characterized social policy and services, improved quality of life, NGOs and the principles of the project. The practical part consists of an analysis conducted by the local community strategy development Local action group Vizovicko and Slušovicko, Community Plan of Social Services Development Vizovicko and Slušovicko and analysis of municipalities Bratřejov. In the form of non-standardized questionnaire was conducted a survey of attractiveness of build a community center, set up a project to build a community center and subsequently proposed recommendations for implementation in practice. The project aim is to determine the conditions for the establishment and activities of nongovernmental organizations, which will ensure the activities of the community center.
