Interpretation of Field's nocturnes

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci „Interpretace nokturen Johna Fielda“ se zabývám podrobnou analýzou nokturen z pohledu interpreta, která je doplněna i notovými ukázkami. Těžiště práce je v interpretačním rozboru skladeb, který vychází jednak z poznatků hudebně teoretických disciplín, ale i z vlastní interpretační praxe. Proto přináší především návrhy interpretačního uchopení skladeb, jak po stránce výrazové, tak i po stránce technické. Dále obsahuje stručný vývoj v historii nokturna. Je zde zařazen skladatelův životopis a seznam jeho klavírního díla.

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis „Interpretation of Field’s nocturnes” I deal with detail analyze of nocturnes from performer’s point of view added by note sample. In this thesis is emphasise above all the part containing an analysis of the composition from the interpretative point of view. This part contains information form music theory as well as practical knowledge of interpretative experience. There are suggested specific solutions of interpretative problems with emphasis on means of expression shape of composition and technical problems. The work contains a brief history of nocturne biography and the piano work of the composer John Field.
