Possibilities of leisure time for children with binocular vision disorders

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o možnostech využití volného času u dětí s poruchami binokulárního vidění. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak je volný čas využíván u dětí předškolního věku s poruchami binokulárního vidění a na tomto podkladě navrhnou vhodné činnosti a volnočasové aktivity pro konkrétní dítě. Teoretická část se zabývá zrakovým vnímáním, zrakovým postižením a jeho klasifikací. Zaměřuje se na poruchy binokulárního vidění a jejich možnosti terapie. Následně definuje volný čas a jeho funkce. Také se věnuje volnému času osob se zrakovým postižením. Praktická část vymezuje cíle výzkumného šetření a jeho samotné metody. V této práci byl využit kvalitativní i kvantitativní přístup. První část výzkumného šetření využila dotazníky, které byly vyplněny rodiči dětí předškolního věku s poruchou binokulárního vidění. Následná část byla zhotovena díky strukturovanému rozhovoru s dvěma respondenty a analýzou dokumentů. Návrh odpoledního programu byl sestaven pro konkrétní dítě na podkladě všech získaných informací. Závěrem byl návrh zhodnocen matkou dítěte.

Abstract:

The following bachelor's thesis is about the application of leisure time for children with binocular vision disorders. The purpose of the thesis is to discern how is leisure time applied with children with binocular vision disorders and on the basis of this it proposes appropriate activities and leisure activities for a specific child. The theoretical part regards the visual perception, visual disorder and its classification. It focuses on disorders of binocular vision and their possibilities of treatment. Following that it defines leisure and its function. It also regards leisure of persons with visual disorders. The practical part outlines the goal of the research and its methods. In this thesis both a qualitative and a quantitative approach are used. The first part of the research used surveys, which were answered by parents of children at preschool age with binocular vision disorders. The following part was constructed using a structured interview with two correspondents and analysis of documents. The proposed afternoon program was assembled for a specific child based on all gathered information. In conclusion this program was reviewed by mother of this child.
