The situation of the Roma erhnic minority in the field of social housing.

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je situace etnické menšiny Romů v oblasti sociálního bydlení. Bakalářská práce pojednává o vzrůstajících problémech romské etnické menšiny v oblasti sociálního bydlení, diskriminace a sociálního vyloučení. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je popsat stále trvající negativní jevy romské menšiny respektive její ohrožené části v oblasti sociálního bydlení. Bakalářská práce obsahuje pouze teoretickou část, ve které jsou popsány pojmy jako, romská menšina, etnická menšina, sociální bydlení. Zabývá se problematikou bydlení a diskriminace v oblasti bydlení. Dále zde popisuje historii romské menšiny, se zaměřením na situaci Romů v České republice s vysvětlením pojmů jako je sociální vyloučení, segregace, holobyty, ghetta a vytěsňování. Práce pojednává také o problematice diskriminace Romů v oblasti sociálního bydlení. Závěr práce popisuje vnímání dopadu diskriminace na romskou menšinu v oblasti bytové politiky.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the situation of the ethnic minority of Romani people in the field of social housing. The bachelor thesis deals with the growing problems of the Roma ethnic minority in the area of social housing, discrimination and social exclusion. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe the ongoing negative phenomena of the Romani minority or its endangered part in the field of social housing. The bachelor thesis contains only a theoretical part in which concepts such as, Roma minority, ethnic minority are described and deals with the issue of housing and discrimination in the field of housing. I also describe the history of the Roma minority, focusing on the situation of Romani people in the Czech Republic, with an explanation of terms such as social exclusion, segregation, holobyty, ghettos and displacement. The thesis also deals with the issue of discrimination against Romani people in the area of social housing. The conclusion of the thesis describes the perception of the impact of discrimination on the Roma minority in the area of housing policy.
