Fenchel transformation and its application in extremal problems
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnuji problematice Fenchelovy transformace a jejího využití v extrémních úlohách. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První je věnována základní teorii konvexních množin a konvexních funkcí. Druhou a třetí kapitolu již věnuji samotné Fenchelově transformaci, zejména problematice duality úloh konvexního programování.
Abstract:
In this thesis we study the issue of The Fenchel Conjugate and its application in extremal problems. This thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter I give a basic theory of sets and functions. In the second and the third chapter I examine The Fenchel Conjugate, especially the issue of duality theory for convex programs.
