Intersector partnership of non-profit organizations and companies from the perspective of the CSR concept

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu „Mezisektorového partnerství nestátních neziskových organizací a firem z pohledu konceptu Corporate Social Responsibility“. Cílem práce je zjistit vývoj očekávání zástupců firem a NGOs od vzájemného partnerství v oblasti CSR. Snahou je upozornit zástupce firem a NGOs na dynamiku očekávání v průběhu partnerství. Podstatou diplomové práce je analýza fází partnerství a vývoje očekávání a příčin úspěchu nebo neúspěchu dlouhodobého partnerství mezi zástupci sektorů. Došlo ke zjištění, že oba aktéři vnímají partnerství v oblasti CSR jako vzájemnou spolupráci, která stojí na rovnocenném vztahu. Šlo mezi nimi spíše o krátkodobé kooperace, které se vlivem faktorů nedařilo rozvinout. Problém nastával ve 3. fázi rozvoje partnerství, kde nedocházelo k naplňování očekávání, která si partneři definovali. Velkou bariérou se stalo využívání odlišeného jazyka komunikace. Průběh a vývoj očekávání se odvíjel od klíčových stakeholderů. Bylo možné pozorovat spíše vztah mezi dvěma lidmi, než mezi firmou a NGO jako institucemi. Očekávání aktérů byla modifikována pozitivním směrem. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. Teoretická část se zabývá představením podstaty aktérů v partnerství, dále charakterizuje koncept Corporate Social Responsibility a v závěru vystihuje partnerství v oblasti zmíněného konceptu. Metodologická část je zaměřena na metodologii kvalitativního výzkumu, která byla využita při zkoumání daného tématu. Empirická část interpretuje výsledky výzkumného šetření vzhledem k dílčím výzkumným otázkám.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to determine the expectation of companies and non-governmental non-profit organizations from the mutual partnership in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. The effort is to refer to the companies and the non-governmental non-profit organizations about the dynamics of expectation during the partnership. The core of the diploma thesis is an analysis of stages of partnership and the evaluation of expectation and causes of success or failure of a long-time partnership between the two fields. It has been found that both actors perceive CSR partnerships as a mutual cooperation that is on an equal relationship. These were rather short-term cooperatives that failed to develop due to factors. The problem arose in the third phase of partnership development where the expectations defined by the partners were not met. A great barrier has become the use of a different language of communication. The progression and development of expectations was driven by key stakeholders. Actor's expectations were modified in a positive direction. The thesis is divided into three parties. Theoretical part deals with a presentation of parties of the partnership, describes the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility and at the end it reflects the partnership in the abovementioned concept. The methodological part is concentrated in the methodology of creative research which was applied in the research within the topic. The empiric part interprets the results of the survey view to partial research questions.
