Práce má za cíl přinést přehled o historickém vývoji auditu a jeho budoucím směřování. Práce je rozdělena na tři kapitoly. V první kapitole je popsána historie auditu až po současnost se zmínkou o vývoji v České republice a vznikem Komory auditorů ČR. This thesis aims to provide an overview of the historical development of auditing and its future direction. The thesis is divided into three chapters.
