Možnosti nevidomých v oblasti počítačové editace textů s matematickou symbolikou jsou značně omezené. V České republice brání většímu využití potenciálu informačních technologií ve výuce matematiky především neexistence standardu pro její zápis a také absence sofistikovaného nástroje, jenž by těžce zrakově postiženým nabízel vhodné kompenzační funkce. Abstract:
The goal of this thesis was to create a proposition of the Czech eight-dot Braille standard for writing mathematics. At the same time the Czech edition of a specialized editor called Lambda (Linear Access to Mathematics for Braille Devices and Audio-synthesis) was introduced.
