Tato práce se zabývá vztahem mezi ženami a šílenstvím v dílech severoamerických autorek: Žlutá tapeta (The Yellow Wall-Paper) Charlotte Perkins Gilmanové, Pod skleneným zvonem (The Bell Jar) Sylvie Plath a Z hlubin (Surfacing) Margaret Atwoodové. This thesis explores the relationship between women and madness in works by North American female writers: Charlotte Perkins Gilman's The Yellow Wall-Paper, Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar and Margaret Atwood's Surfacing.
