Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá vybranými názvy omáček a polévek ve slovanských jazycích. Jádro práce spočívá ve sběru a utřídění materiálu. Jednotlivé názvy jsou doplněny etymologickým výkladem včetně sémantické motivace jednotlivých pojmenování. Práce nastiňuje historický vývoj jednotlivých pokrmů a zachycuje, jak tyto názvy pronikly do lidových přísloví, přirovnání a pořekadel. Uvádí přenesené …more

The master thesis discusses selected names of sauces and soups in Slavonic languages. Material collection and sorting is the core of the thesis. Individual names are accompanied by an etymological interpretation, including semantic motivation of various names.
