Perzistentné organické polutanty (POP) sú skupinou zlúenín, ktoré podliehajú diakovému transportu a depozícii. Globálny rozsah POP zneistenia sa stal dôležitým až s ich detekciou na miestach ako je Arktída, kde nikdy predtým neboli vyrábané ani používané, na hladinách škodlivých pre živú prírodu aj pre loveka. Abstract:
Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) is group of compounds, which are prone to long range atmospheric transport and deposition. The global extent of POP pollution became apparent with their detection in areas such as the Arctic, where they have never been used or produced, at levels posing risks to both wildlife and humans.
