Insolvency Models for Financial Evaluation of Company

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je provést analýzu vybraných bankrotních modelů a ověřit jejich přesnost na souboru vybraných podniků. Teoretická část obsahuje popis těchto modelů, metodiku a jejich výpočet a také způsob vyhodnocení výsledků. Popsány jsou jak modely zahraniční, tak i několik modelů českých autorů. V praktické části je pak na vzorku náhodně vybraných podniků (těch, které se dostaly do finančních potíží i těch, které prosperují) posuzována jejich vypovídací schopnost.

Abstract:

The main objective of the given thesis is to analyze the selected insolvency prediction models and verify their accuracy by using the sample of selected enterprises.The theoretical part of the thesis contains descriptions of these models, methodology to calculate them and ways of results evaluation. Models by both Czech and foreign authors are presented. The practical part reflects the research of their predicted probabilities by means of randomly selected enterprises (those, which have financial problems, and those, which thrive).
