The issue of professional and mass sport state financial funding

Abstract:

Předložená práce popisuje zdroje financování masového a vrcholového sportu v České republice. Práce se zabývá společenských významem sportu, ale i mikroekonomickým a makroekonomickým významem sportu. Práce popisuje konkrétní programy státní podpory sportu na rok 2012. Dále se práce zabývá financováním sportu v Karlovarském kraji a analyzuje, jak je podporován sport v jednotlivých okresech tohoto kraje. Práce se zaměřuje na objasnění finančních zdrojů TJ Baník Sokolov. Zabývá se i návrhy řešení na zlepšení financování sportu v Karlovarském kraji. Mezi tyto návrhy patří odvod z daně z příjmů fyzických osob a zdanění zisků z výherních automatů a kasin. Dále odvody z daňového základu velkých firem a subjektů cestovního ruchu. Existují další možnosti financování jako čerpání peněz z rozpočtu obcí, odvody z koncesionářských poplatků a využití strukturálních fondů EU.

Abstract:

The thesis describes the sources of funding the mass and the professional in the Czech Republic. The thesis deals with the social significance of sport, but also microeconomic and macroeconomic significance of sport. The thesis describes the specific state aid programmes of sport in 2012. The thesis deals with the funding of sport in the Carlsbad region and analyzes how the sport is supported in various districts of the region. The work focuses on clarifying the funding of TJ Banik Sokolov. The thesis deals with proposals and solutions to improve the funding of sport in the Carlsbad Region. These proposals include the removal of taxes on personal income and taxation of profits from slot machines and casinos. Further deductions from the tax base of large companies and tourism organizations. There are other funding options such as drawing money from the municipal budget, levies, license fees and use of EU structural funds.
