The issue of 3D printing and its use in teaching in secondary schools

Abstract:

Předmětem mé diplomové práce je popsat techniku 3D tisku a programy které se k tisku používají. Přiblížit co všechno se může s pomocí této technologie vyrábět a také do jakých vědních oborů technologie 3D tisku pronikla a pomáhá člověku. Práce se zaměří na to jak je technika 3D tisku a grafiky rozšířená v Brněnských školách, jak školy výuku vnímají a jaký je o ni zájem. Před závěrem práce se podíváme na to, jaké obory by měly výuku 3D grafiky popřípadě 3D tisku zařadit do svých osnov a také v jakých hodinových dotacích by to mělo být.

Abstract:

The subject of my thesis is to describe the technique of 3D printing and programs that are used for printing. Furthermore I try to explain what might produced due to using this technology and in which scientific disciplines are used the technology. The thesis will focus on how 3D technology printing and graphics is widespread in Brno's schools and also how schools perceive teaching of 3D technology printing and how is the interest in this teaching. Before the conclusion of the work we will look which branches of study should integrate teaching of 3D graphics or 3D printing into their curriculum.
