Sexual education for mentally handicapped people

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na sexuální výchovu jedinců s lehkým mentálním postižením. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V prví kapitole jsou obecné informace o sexuální výchově. Jak probíhá tato výchova ve škole, jak v rodině a jaký je její obsah, metody a principy. Druhá kapitola popisuje teoretická východiska mentálního postižení, klasifikaci, etiologii a specifický vývoj těchto jedinců. Ve třetí kapitole jsou konkrétní informace o sexuální výchově u jedinců s mentálním postižením. Řeší se zde specifika sexuality těchto jedinců, důležitost osvěty a problematika partnerských vztahů, manželství, rodičovství. Závěrem je popsáno sexuální zneužívání, protože právě jedinci s mentálním postižením, se stávají velmi často oběťmi těchto trestných činů. Cílem praktické části je zjištění úrovně vědomostí z oblasti lidské sexuality, zkušenosti a názory na tuto problematiku u žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on sexual education of people with light mental disorder. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter contains basic information on sexual education. The way the education is carried out at school and in the family and what is its content, methods and principles. The second chapter describes theoretical starting points of mental disorder, classification, etiology and specific development of these individuals. In the third chapter there is specific information about sexual education of individuals with mental disorder. Specific aspects of sexuality of these individuals are discussed here also the importance of education, problems with partneship relations, marriage, parenthood. At the end of the theses sexual abuse is described, because individuals with mental ofter become victims of these criminal acts. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is finding the level of knowledge of human sexuality, experience and opinions of students with light mental disorder.
