History, theory and training methodology of the saloon quadrille dance Czech Beseda

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o historickém tanci Česká beseda a o možnostech jeho uplatnění v různých typech škol. Česká beseda sestávající z výběru typických českých lidových tanců stylizovaných do salónní podoby patřila od doby svého vzniku v 1. polovině 60. let 19. století k nejoblíbenějším tancům české měšťanské společnosti. Přestože z povědomí veřejnosti nikdy zcela nevymizela, její všeobecná znalost postupně zaniká. Cílem této diplomové práce je proto nejen připomenout tento bohatý a pestrý kulturní odkaz, ale zároveň vytvořit celistvý metodický materiál pro jeho nácvik a realizaci v rámci předmětů hudební výchova, tělesná výchova, taneční výchova nebo tematicky zaměřeného blokového vyučování na základních školách, gymnáziích, základních uměleckých školách a ve volnočasových kroužcích.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with the historical Czech dance called „Česká beseda“ and discusses the possibilities of its application in various types of schools. Czech Beseda consisting of a selection of typical Czech salon-stylized folk dances has belonged since its creation in the first half of the 60s of the 19th century's to most popular dances of Czech bourgeois society. Although the awareness of the public has never completely disappeared, her general knowledge is gradually disappearing. Therefore the aim of this thesis is not only to remind this rich and varied cultural heritage, but also to create a coherent methodological materials for its training and implementation within the subjects of music, physical education, dance education or thematically oriented block teaching in primary schools, high schools, elementary art schools and leisure time clubs.
