The Feud of Freedom and Responsibility in Jean-Paul Sartre’s Dramas

Abstract:

Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V první se autorka zabývá existencialistickou filozofii Jean-Paul Sartra a zkoumá, jakým způsobem se filozofie tohoto myslitele, literáta a dramatika projevuje v jeho dramatických dílech. Práce se snaží poznávat fenomény „svoboda“ a „odpovědnost“ a ústřední motivy v dramatickém díle Jean-Paul Sartra.Druhá část práce se soustředí na jednoaktovku S vyloučením veřejnosti a autorčiny osobní zkušenosti při tvorbě bakalářské inscenace, a její reflexi, v souvislosti s teoretickými poznatky.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, the author deals with the existentialist philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre. She examines how the philosophy of this philosopher, writer, and playwright differs in his dramatic works. The work tries to get to know the phenomena of “freedom” and “responsibility” and the central motives throughout the dramatic work of Jean-Paul Sartre.The second part of the thesis focuses on the one-act play No Exit, the author's personal experience in creating a bachelor's production, and its reflection on theoretical knowledge.
