Abstract:

Diplomová práce Experimentální a numerické stanovení hodnoty čísla π se věnuje problematice týkající se převážně metod měření a vyčíslení hodnoty čísla π. Okrajově doplňuje některé informace týkající se historie čísla π, která byla již podrobně probrána v bakalářské práci Číslo π v učivu matematiky na základní škole, na kterou tato práce volně navazuje. Práce je rozdělena na numerickou a experimentální část. Numerická část je věnována nejrůznějším způsobům vyjádření hodnoty čísla π s pomocí moderní výpočetní techniky. Obsahuje ukázky několika simulací a základy samotného programování, avšak v takové podobě, aby tyto poznatky bylo možné použít vyučujícími ve výuce matematiky, fyziky nebo informatiky na základních školách. Hlavním bodem práce je praktická část, jejíž součástí je experimentální stanovení hodnoty čísla π. Tato hodnota je pomocí nejrůznějších metod určena žáky osmého a devátého ročníku základní školy. Cílem práce je rozšířit znalost čísla π na základních školách a přispět k mezioborové spolupráci mezi jednotlivými vyučujícími.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis of Experimental and numerical assessing of π is dedicated to issues mostly relating to the methods of measurement and quantification of the value of π. Marginally, some information is added regarding the history of the number π, which has already been discussed in detail, in the Bachelor's thesis Number of π in subject matter of mathematics at basic school, to which this thesis freely follows. The work is divided into numeric and experimental part. The numeric part is devoted to the various ways of expressing the value of π with the help of modern computing. It contains samples of several simulations and the basics of programming, but in such manner that these findings can be used with teachers in teaching mathematics, physics or computer science at the elementary schools. The main point of the thesis is the practical part, which includes the experimental assessing of π. Using a variety of methods, this value is determined of the pupils of the eighth and ninth grade of elementary school. The aim of the thesis is to extend the knowledge of the number π to elementary schools and to contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration amongst teachers.
