The importance of tourism in the regional development of Dolni Berounka microregion

Abstract:

Turistický ruch má význam nejen pro Českou republiku jako stát. Růst turistického ruchu v regionech vede i k ekonomickému rozvoji těchto regionů. Tato práce analyzuje informace jak na celostátní úrovni, tak na úrovni regionální. Představuje instituce v České republice, které se touto tématikou zabývají. Dále analyzuje mikroregion Dolní Berounka. Údaje ze statistik a studií pomáhají stanovit, jak navýšit turistický ruch právě v tomto regionu. Zároveň také analyzují silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a rizika. Práce ukazuje na možnosti jak informovat a přesvědčit potenciální turisty o přednostech regionu. Z analýzy silných a slabých stránek regionu vycházejí návrhy, jaké turistické aktivity by měl region preferovat a podporovat. Rozvoj regionu je také podmíněn financováním, a proto se práce věnuje současnému stavu financování a navrhuje cesty, jak získat další finanční zdroje. Definované konečné závěry by mohly být základem pro vypracování konkrétního projektu rozvoje turistického ruchu v regionu.

Abstract:

Tourism is importance not only for the Czech Republic. The growth of tourism in regions leads to an economic development of these areas. This paper analyse information both on national and regional level. It offers the institutions responsible for this matter. Next the work analyse the region Dolní Berounka. A vast amount of data acquired from different studies and statistics helps to find out how to aggrandize tourism of this particular area. These information also help to distinguish advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and risks. The work shows to the posibility, how inform potentional tourists about the highlights of the region. A thorough consideration of pros and cons of the area led to a number of proposals as for which activities should the region prefer. The development of region, however, cannot do without finance, therefore the work is describing the current financial sources and offering ways of improvement. In the conclusion, the whole work is evaluated and the author defines final outcomes which could serve as a platform of a real tourism development project.
