Práca sa zaoberá prehľadom systémov digitálneho televízneho vysielania, a to konkrétne pozemskému DVB-T a satelitnému DVB-S. Venuje sa ich technologickým špecifikáciám, popisuje princípy prenosu, príjmu a spracovania signálu. Spracúva techniky kompresie, kódovania, modulácie signálov a ich spájanie do multiplexu.
