Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce s názvem Flexibilní klarinetisté je o českých klarinetistech po 2. světové válce, kteří měli přesah do příbuzných nástrojů (basklarinet, basetový roh a saxofon) a žánrů. Práce popisuje úskalí této flexibility a požadavky na interprety. K napsání této práce vedla skutečnost, že mnozí dnešní klarinetisté nemají zkušenosti se střídáním nástrojů a žánrů a rovněž nemají povědomí o významných flexibilních interpretech. Mnoho prací se zabývá skladateli a skladbami, ale interpreti jsou opomíjeni. Tato práce by měla tuto skutečnost napravit a inspirovat současné interprety k propojení více nástrojových a žánrových oblastí. První kapitola pojednává o problémech spojených se střídáním nástrojů, specifických nátiskových požadavcích a nástrojových možnostech příslušných žánrů. Druhá kapitola popisuje obecné vlastnosti a specifika příbuzných nástrojů. Ve třetí kapitole lze najít mnoho jednotlivých životopisů interpretů rozdělených do příslušných kategorií dle nástroje a žánru. Informace jsou získané z biografií, článků, nahrávek a rozhovorů s těmito osobnostmi. Čtvrtá kapitola zpracovává výsledky průzkumu mezi dnešními klarinetisty a saxofonisty. Práce obsahuje osobnosti interpretující artificiální hudbu, lidovou hudbu, jazz, swing, hudbu třetího proudu i alternativní hudbu.

Abstract:

This thesis with name Flexible clarinetists deals with czech clarinetists after The Second World War, who were able to play on relative instruments (bass clarinet, basset horn, saxophone) and also across the different genres. Thesis also describes the problem of flexibility and requirements on flexible interpreters. To write this thesis led me a fact, that many today’s interpreters have no experiences with instruments and genres changing and don’t know famous interpreters who were able to change instruments and genres. Many thesis deal about composers and compositions, but interpreters are bit in oblivion. This thesis should fill this space and stimulate clarinet colleagues to connect wider regions of playing the instruments. The first chapter is mainly about the problems connected with playing to relative instruments, specifications of emboucher and instrumental possibilities of genres. Second chapter deals with general specifications and properties of relative instruments. In the third chapter are many short biographies of interpreters divided in groups of instruments and genres with the informations from memoirs of interpreters, available articles and interviews and recordings from past and today. Fourth chapter processes the answers of questionnaires from contemporary czech clarinetists and saxophonists. This thesis covers genres from artificial music through the folk music, jazz, swing, music of The Third Stream to alternative scene.
