Táto bakalárska práca skúma na románoch Cal a Grace Notes aspekty tvorby Bernarda MacLavertyho v súvislosti so spoločenským a politickým vývojom v Severnom Írsku od konca šesťdesiatych rokov dvadsiateho storočia do dnes.

Abstract:

This work explores aspects of the fiction of Bernard MacLaverty in relation to the social and political developments in Northern Ireland between the late 1960s and the present day. The thesis discusses the ‘troubled’ aspect of MacLaverty’s fiction in two of his novels Cal and Grace Notes, as well as the narrative technique.
