Štěstí je jedním z hlavních podnětů života. Od roku 2006, kdy New Foundation Economics (NEF) navrhl vypočítat index štěstí („Happy Planet Index“), během krátkých deset let od této chvíle byly provedeny širší cross-disciplinární studie. Happiness is one of the main stimulus of life. Since 2006, when the New Foundation Economics (NEF) proposed to calculate the happiness index («Happy Planet Index»), within a short decade many interdisciplinary researches has been carried out.
