Interakce elektrofilních ligandů s nízkomolekulárními thioly
Interaction of electrophilic ligands with low molecular weight thiols
Abstract:
Posttranslační modifikace (PTM) a obecně oxidační modifikace proteinů se podílí na regulaci metabolismu, růstu, diferenciace a imunitní reakce buňky. Do modifikací navozených elektrofilními ligandy (nebo i léčivy) jsou nejčastěji zapojeny thioly regulačních proteinů. Ostatní (především bazické) aminokyselinové zbytky jsou taktéž modifikovány, přičemž mechanismus těchto modifikací doposud nebyl zcela …moreAbstract:
Post-translational modification (PTM) and, in general, oxidation modifications of proteins are involved in the regulation of cell metabolism, growth, differentiation and immune response. Thiols of regulatory proteins are most often involved in modification induced by electrophilic ligands (or even drugs). Other (especially basic) amino acid residues are also modified, and the mechanism of these modifications …more
