Support of business by information resources in Czech republic

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá hlavně českými elektronickými informačními zdroji. V teoretické části se tato bakalářská práce zabývá definováním podnikání a důležitých pojmů z oblasti informací a informačních zdrojů. Následně jsou představeny disciplíny, které nějakým způsobem mohou informačně podporovat podnikání. V praktické části je primárně kladen důraz na popis elektronických informačních zdrojů a souvisejících služeb z českého prostředí podporujících podnikání, ovšem částečná pozornost je věnována i větším mezinárodním informačním zdrojům z oblasti country intelligence. Cílem této práce je nalezení nejdůležitějších českých zdrojů a na základě analýzy a srovnání jednotlivých informačních zdrojů zmapovat tyto zdroje a určit, které charakteristiky jsou pro ně běžné. Hlavním přínosem této práce by tedy měl být ucelený souhrn informací o elektronických informačních zdrojích České republiky, jejich popis a praktické využití a v oblasti podnikání, včetně srovnávací tabulky. Vedlejším přínosem této práce je přehledné rozlišení a definování jednotlivých typů informací využitelných v podnikatelské sféře.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused mainly on electronic information sources. The first part, theoretical, is devoted to defining some relevant terms in the field of business, information and information sources. Afterwards, some disciplines which can support business in any way are described. In the second, practical part, thesis is mainly focused on describing and analyzing a lot of czech information sources which support business, but a little part is devoted to foreign information sources from the country intelligence field. The main purpose of this thesis is finding the most important czech electronic information sources, and map them based on their description and comparison, also finding out which of their characteristics are most common. The main benefit of this work should therefore be a comprehensive summary of information on electronic information sources of the Czech Republic, their description and practical use in the area of business, including a comparison table. The secondary benefit of this work is a clear definition and distinction of individual types of information usable in the business sphere.
