Education of Adults as an Answer for Challenges of Automatization: Examples of the Best Practise

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se v perspektivě vzdělávání dospělých vyrovnává s velmi aktuálním tématem automatizace a s riziky, které může znamenat pro pracovní trh. Výhled automatizace řady povolání je globální výzvou, s níž se bude muset společnost v nejbližších letech vypořádat. V perspektivě andragogiky jsou celoživotní učení a profesní vzdělávání oblastmi, které by mohly na restrukturalizaci pracovního trhu adekvátně odpovídat a facilitovat tranzici mezi automatizovanými profesemi k povoláním s perspektivní budoucností. První část této diplomové práce ilustruje komplexnost automatizace, dominantní činitele a motivy za její implementací. Zároveň práce poukazuje na problematiku celoživotního učení a profesního vzdělávání a shrnuje teoretická doporučení pro pracovní trh a vzdělávání dospělých. Druhá část práce na základě analýzy automatizace povolání předkládá projekty, které by se mohly stát příkladem dobré praxe pro český kontext a srovnává jejich komponenty s tuzemskými reáliemi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is dealing with a very present topic of automation in a perspective of an adult education and describes risks that it can have on a labor market. The prospect that number of professions is about to be automatized, is a global challenge for our society that needs to be handled in upcoming years. The lifelong learning and professional education are in the perspective of andragogy the fields that could respond accurately to the restructuring of labor market. These fields have the potential to facilitate the transition among automatized professions and professions with a promising future. First part of the thesis illustrates the complexity of automation, dominant factors and motives for its implementation. The thesis points out to the issue of lifelong learning and professional education and it sums up theoretical recommendations for labor market and adult education. Second part of the thesis presents projects that could serve as good case practices for the context of Czech Republic. The presentation is based on analysis of automation of jobs and it compares its components with domestic facts.
